Every year, the Expendables Motorcycle Club of NJ take on a noble mission to honor the memory of Julia, a fallen officer, while also extending a helping hand to those in need. This year, their annual "Julia Ride" took on a special significance as they rallied together to support Michael, a paralyzed veteran from New Jersey, and his dream of an accessible home.

The Expendables MC NJ, a brotherhood of current and former federal, state, and local police, military, fire, EMS, and corrections personnel, has a long-standing tradition of giving back to the community. Their annual Julia Ride, named after a fallen officer, is a testament to their commitment to supporting worthy causes.

This year, the club chose to partner with Homes for Veterans. Upon learning about Michael's story and his need for an accessible bathroom and widened hallways, the Expendables MC NJ were determined to make a difference.

With unwavering dedication, the Expendables MC NJ organized their annual Julia Ride, raising an impressive $6,000 for Michael's project. Their efforts were truly remarkable, demonstrating the power of community spirit and selfless service.

At their Cigar Night, the Expendables MC NJ presented Michael with a check for $6,000, much to his delight and gratitude. This generous donation was a beacon of hope, assuring Michael that his dream of an accessible home was within reach.


 

The Expendables MC NJ's commitment to Michael extended beyond their financial contribution. They also took the time to visit Michael at the final reveal of his renovated home, sharing in the joy and satisfaction of seeing their efforts come to fruition.
