Mr. Barnes lost his leg to cancer due to the water contamination at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.

However, because he had no medical conditions documented at the time, he is struggling to get the claim accomplished.

This denial is standard for Marine veterans trying to file for the claim so late in the game.

Operation Decisive Victory was able to deliver a power wheelchair to Mr.Barnes to replace his old manual chair.

Homes For Veterans will be widening his doorways and adapting his bathroom so that Mr.Barnes can freely navigate in his own home comfortably with his new power chair!
