Amanda - Female Veteran Needs Elevator
Amanda is a young female veteran and a mother who served as a Hospital Corpsman in the Navy. She provided aid overseas, helped surgeons to remove tumors and heal cleft palates. After Amanda’s time overseas she helped care for her family and pushed her own mental health needs aside.
Amanda struggled down a difficult path and is now fighting hard everyday to care for herself and her family. Due to her physical injuries, she struggles to climb up and down the stairs of her home.
Will you help us help Amanda live more independently and safely? We’re working to install an elevator in Amanda’s home this year.
