Homes for Veterans Commits to Virtual Support for Isolated Heroes During Pandemic

COVID19 has ravaged our country, taken the lives of our loved ones, closed down our schools and businesses and forced us all into our homes for months. This is an extremely difficult time for all of us – but our veterans in particular – who already suffer from preexisting mental health conditions such as PTSD and depression, are prone to exasperating these conditions by being confined to their homes indefinitely.

Homes for Veterans has unfortunately had to pause construction projects amid COVID19 in order to protect our contractors and our disabled heroes who are at risk. However, that will not stop us from helping our veterans who are suffering. We have been using your gifts to create care packages filled with toiletries, puzzles, books, socks, nail polish, etc… as well as work with volunteers to create and write personal letters so that we connect to our veterans who are alone and suffering in isolation.

We are committed to giving back, if only a small thank you, to our soldiers who allowed us our freedom. If you are interested in joining our team – feel free to give as much as you are able to on this page or email
info@homesforveterans.us to help us create and send cards or care packages!
