12.13.2025 — Christmas Event Partnering with Wounded Warrior Project x Edison American Legion
Homes for Veterans was honored to partner with the Wounded Warrior Project and Edison American Legion for a truly special Christmas event dedicated to supporting and celebrating veterans and military families during the holiday season.
The Annual Edison American Legion Breakfast with Santa brought together veterans, families, volunteers, and community members for a morning filled with holiday cheer, laughter, music, connection, and unforgettable memories. Events like these are such an important reminder that no veteran or military family should ever feel alone, especially during the holidays.
A heartfelt thank you to Adrienne Cea and the Wounded Warrior Project for generously donating so many beautifully wrapped toys for military families. Seeing the excitement and joy on the children’s faces made the day even more meaningful.
Guests enjoyed breakfast, holiday music, fellowship, and thoughtful gifts throughout the event. We were also incredibly touched by the beautiful handmade winter hats donated by Lois, which added an extra layer of warmth and care to the day.
A very special thank you to Commander Dave Tingle, the veterans, and all of the volunteers who worked so hard cooking, setting up, serving, and breaking down the event. Your dedication and commitment to the veteran community truly made this event possible.
We also want to recognize Gloria Dittman for her continued support and generosity in helping make the American Legion a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for veterans and their families.
And thank you to Mark Naughton for your service as a veteran and for capturing such special moments from the event for us.
The holidays can be difficult for many veterans and families, which is why days like this matter so much. Bringing people together through kindness, community, and support is what this mission is all about, and we are so grateful to everyone who helped make this event so special.
