Dennis Duddie, Commander of the Rochelle Park American Legion the largest American Legion post in Bergen County has dedicated so much of his life to serving and advocating for his fellow veterans.
Since 2014, Dennis has also been an important part of the Homes for Veterans family, serving as our Veteran Liaison on the Board and helping us strengthen our connection to the veteran community throughout New Jersey.
Our mission is not only about supporting veterans inside their homes. It is also about protecting the places where veterans find friendship, support, resources, and a sense of community.
That is why Homes for Veterans stepped in to replace the roof at the Rochelle Park American Legion, helping preserve a post that has been serving veterans and their families for nearly 100 years. Every veteran deserves a safe home, a strong community, and people who continue to stand beside them long after their service ends.
We are incredibly proud to have Dennis as part of the Homes for Veterans family and to stand behind organizations that continue showing up for our veterans every single day.
